Making Sequel is not new trend in bollywood.Ram Gopal Verma was the first director who started making sequal of his movie 'Darna Mana Hai' to Darna Zaroori Hai'.then he made sequal to his some Hit movies like Sarkar and of some Flop movie like 'Phoonk'
RGV is not the only Director who made sequal to original.Rakesh Roshan made Krishh a sequal of his blockbuster film 'Koi Mil Gaya'.there is a very long list of Producer and Director like Rakesh Roshan,Sajid Khan,Sanjay Gadvi,Mahesh Bhatt,Sajid Nadiadwala,Rohit Shetty who have made sequal of their Hit and Flop movies.
So there is a List of upcoming Bollywood movies which are either sequel of original movies or sequel of previouse installment.

Previous two installment of Dhoom Movie was directed by Sanjay Gadhvi but this time it is directed by Victor.Victor has also written and directed Tashan.In Dhoom 3 Both Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra will continue in their iconic roles of Jai Dixit and Ali.The film will feature Aamir Khan playing a negative character.It is the first time that Amir is playing a negative role.Katrina Kaif will star opposite Aamir Khan.composer of Dhoom and Dhoom 2, Pritam, will return once again to compose the music of the third version.
