Salman-SRK Films to clash on Eid 2015

Salman Khan's untitled film that will be directed by Kabir Khan and produced under his Being Human banner is going to have a 2015 Eid release. While Salman Khan had booked this date a month ago, Shah Rukh's upcoming film with Farhan Akhtar 'Raees' may be released on the same day.

Produced by Farhan's Excel Production, with 'Raees' Shah Rukh Khan will enter the war zone once again and take over Salman, whose Eid releases have been unchallenged so far. Salman's huge fan following has so far never disappointed the star whenever his films have released on Eid.

This time Salman didn't release his film on Eid and Shah Rukh Khan bagged the opportunity with 'Chennai Express' which has gone down Box-Office history by making Rs 200 crore.

With the two Khans getting ready with their big releases on the same day, we wonder who will win the Eid battle? Or will one of them back out? Only time will tell.

Top five Future Brides for Salman Khan

          Aamir Khan recently admitted that he was tired of asking his buddy Salman Khan to get married. While we agree with Aamir and would like to see Salman tie the knot, we bring top five potential brides for the superstar. All these pretty ladies share a sizzling chemistry with the actor and enjoy his support. 

1) Iulia Vantur

The first that come in our list is Romanian actress Iulia Vantur. She was apparently dating the actor stayed in his house for some time. She was often seen accompanying the actor on the sets and would sport his charity T-shirts to show her loyalty towards him. Though they broke off amicably due to family interference, reports have emerged that the actor might have met her on his visit to Romania. 

2) Elli Avram:

Swedish-Greek model-actress Elli Avram seems to be a hot property of the current season of Bigg Boss. Apparently Salman is very fond of her and praised her work in Mickey Virus. Not only did he compare her to his former flame Katrina Kaif, he refers to her as 'meri Ellie' when he talks about her in the company of his close friends and family. Ellie in turn is leaving no stone unturned to charm the superstar. She danced on his number Fevicol Se and crooned songs from Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. We can sure see some sparks flying. 3) Sana Khan:

The gorgeous Sana Khan stole many hearts when she came as a contestant in Bigg Boss season 6. She was also favoured by Salman Khan and was often praised by the actor. The show has been her big ticket to Bollywood as she bagged a role with Salman in Jai Ho. Not only did Salman help her by shaping her career in Bollywood, he also supported her when she was embroiled in a controversy surrounding a kidnapping of a 15-year-old girl. Sana’s good looks and her bond with Salman makes her a prospective bride for the actor.

4) Daisy Shah:
  Daisy Shah is not only Salman’s co-star in Jai Ho but also his very “close” friend. Rumours suggest that the newbie shares a close bond with the actor and both are allegedly often spotted taking long, romantic walks and bicycling around the hills of Lavasa. There were reports that suggest that the superstar had sponsored a cosmetic surgery for the actress. While both Salman and Daisy share a great chemistry onscreen, we believe that she could be a strong contender as the superstar’s bride.

5) Mahek Chahal: 

Actress Mahek Chahal was also Salman Khan’s favourite in Bigg Boss season 5. She was constantly favoured by Salman and was rumoured to be under his protective wings. She managed to escape eviction and even after she was evicted, she returned back as a wild card contestant due to Salman’s influence. The pretty actress also made it into the final of that season. Rumours back then suggested that Salman was promoting and guiding her in choosing the right path in Bollywood. So how about Miss Mahek as Salman’s bride?

'Krrish 3' box-office collections

While the nation is going gaga over Hrithik Roshan's 'Krrish 3' box-office collections and reports claim that it is the fastest film to enter Rs 200-crore club, trade experts beg to differ.

Quoting a trade analyst, a DNA report says that the figures quoted by Roshans have irked Salman and Shah Rukh Khan, as they feel that these figures are inflated. Roshans have been claiming that Krrish 3 is the highest domestic Bollywood grosser of all time.

However, the trade analyst alleges that these figures are gross and not net like Salman's Ek Tha Tiger and Aamir's 3 Idiots. The figures quoted by Roshans include what they have earned from Hindi, Tamil and Telugu versions. The report further says that since only Hindi collections is considered as national, the net figure of Krrish 3 is only at Rs 183 crore.

Industry sources allege that Roshans were in a hurry to prove that Krrish 3 has broken all records, especially Salman's Ek Tha Tiger (Rs 197.14 crore), Aamir's 3 Idiots (Rs 202 crore), and Chennai Express (Rs 227 crore). However, the truth is that Chennai Express is still the highest grosser and also the highest opening day grosser in India.

While Rakesh Roshan is denying these allegations and maintains that the film has made Rs 237 crore in India

Deepika the highest Paid Actress

Deepika Padukone is on a high with five backto-back hits; 'Cocktail', 'Race 2', 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani', 'Chennai Express' and now 'Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela'. And buzz is that she is cashing in on the high to become Bollywood's best paid actress.

Trade experts believe that she is a safe bet at the ticket windows. "She can be counted in the hero's league," says trade analyst Taran Adarsh. Another trade expert Amod Mehra is more wary in his assesment, "Deepika has come a long way from the days of her plain Jane avatar in her debut film 'Om Shanti Om'. Today, she is a sex goddess. She has worked her way up. She should continue to work with big stars in woman-oriented films."

Ramesh Taurani, who in fact was given a lot of grief by Deepika when she threatened to walk out from his Race 2 until CINTAA (Cine & TV Artistes Association) intervened, says, "She must be getting more money than her contemporaries. She has delivered four hits just this year. She is every filmmaker's first choice today."
