Dangerous Ishhq- as the title shows, is the complicated love story of super model Sanjana (Karisma Kapoor) and son of a business tycoon Rohan (Rajniesh Duggall). Both fall in love and  As they decide to get married Rohan is kidnapped and Sanjana survives with head injury. But after the injury she starts to see images of her and Rohan, but in different get up. She along with her best friend Neetu (Divya Dutta) approaches a doctor who takes her in Past therapy. This therapy takes her to 1947 (Pakistan) and 1658 (Daultabad). With help of these therapies she along with ACP Singh (Jimmy Shergil) tries to solve the kidnapping case. Will they succeed or she might lose Rohan , well that what the entire film about.

Review
Story has chapters from four different eras (2012, 1947, 1658 & 1535). Few stories are average but the last one is superb. The makers have tried to connect the stories with real events like India Pakistan Partition, War with Aurangzeb, Meera Bai references and more. The first half is good but little bit lengthy, but as we move in second half the movie becomes more interesting and gripping.
Karishma Kapoor  is back with a big bang. Dangerous Ishhq  rests on the strong shoulders of the actress, as she delivers an outstanding  performance. She will shock you with her Action and stunt. It’s  good  to watch her switch lanes and portay women from different eras and cultures. Rajniesh Duggall plays his part well. Jimmy Shergill surprises once again after Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster.
Aarya Babbar and Gracy Singh leave an impact. Samir Kochhar too plays his part well.

What’s Gud

  • Music by Himesh Reshamiya is good and could force you to watch the movie, songs like ‘Tu Hi Rab’, ‘Naina Re’ and ‘Rusva’. ‘Lagan Lagi’ and others are good.
  • A superb acting  by Karisma Kapoor, a crispy direction, intelligent editing and cinematography are the strengths.
  • The suspense element at frequent intervals leaves one spell-bound. Quick recall of the past lives with no wastage of time in terms of building of sub-plots is something really remarkable.
  • Few 3D effects (for mass level) and gripping second half of the movie is good.

What’s Bad
  •      Story is predictable in some moments.
  •      Entire movie is focused on Karishma Kapoor ,other actors are wasted.
  •      Screenplay could be better.
  •      Some loopholes in the story line, impact less dialogues, especially in the first half are the weak points.

Overall, with Dangerous Ishhq, Karisma Kapoor is back with her new innings as a powerful actor.
The movie is not outstanding. But on dramatic level it’s not bad either.
