Shahrukh Khan was born on 2 November 1965 to Muslim parents of Pathan family in New Delhi, India. His father, Taj Mohammed Khan, was an Indian independence activist from Peshawar , British India . his paternal grandfather was originally from Afghanistan.His father lost this battle with cancer when Khan was 15 years old and his mother passed away in 1990 after a long illness. Khan was very attached to his parents. He married Gauri Chibber , a Hindu , in a traditional Hindu wedding ceremony on 25 October 1991.They have two children, son Aryan (b. 1997) and daughter Suhana (b. 2000). According to Khan, while he strongly believes in Allah , he also values his wife's religion. At home, his children follow both religions. Being a Muslim man married to a Hindu woman, he and his wife combine
both religious backgrounds into their children's education.

Filmy Career
After Completing Studies he started his career appearing in theatre and several television serials in the late 1980s like Fauji , playing the leading role of Commando Abhimanyu Rai and Aziz Mirza 's Circus in1989, which depicted the life of circus performers and later made his Hindi film debut in 1992 with Deewana. He began to achieve success at the box office from his negative roles in films like Darr (1993), Baazigar (1993), Anjaam (1994),Don(2008) ect. During his years in the Indian film industry, he has won seven Film Fare Best actor awards and has had significant box office success.
